About
MGTS
MGTS is an educational charity with over 50 years’ experience specialising in engineering apprenticeships, training and assessment provision. From technical centres in the Midlands, it delivers Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering apprenticeships that combine first‑year, centre-based practical and theoretical training with subsequent workplace learning and day-release study. MGTS works in partnership with employers of all sizes, from SMEs to global operators, across sectors including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, food and drink, logistics and more. Employers receive support from dedicated Training & Development Advisers and can use MGTS to recruit new engineering apprentices or develop existing staff. In addition to apprenticeships, MGTS offers a wide range of engineering training courses and skills analysis services tailored to organisational needs, helping businesses identify skills gaps and upskill experienced engineers. Recognised nationally as learning and development experts, MGTS provides structured pathways into engineering careers and ongoing professional development, supported by industry-standard facilities and long-standing relationships with brands such as Amtico, Britvic, FedEx, Morrisons, Triumph and Warburtons.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
