Maybird Training

Maybird Training is a registered training provider based in Ashford and Folkestone, Kent, delivering Ofqual-approved vocational qualifications, apprenticeships and functional skills across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on the early years, education and TAQA (training, assessment and quality assurance) workforce. They offer apprenticeship standards in the education and childcare sector including Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner and Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher. Alongside apprenticeships, Maybird Training delivers accredited work-based (formerly NVQ) and online courses in teaching and education, leadership and management, early years and health & social care, as well as first aid and manual handling. Their team of lecturers, tutors, assessors and vocational trainers provides needs-led continuing professional development, Early Years Foundation Stage training, and Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values training for early years and educational settings. They also run CPD workshops on topics such as sustained shared thinking, loose parts play and using signs and symbols, plus mini training workshops delivered directly to children in early years, childminding, afterschool and youth settings.
