About
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is one of the largest acute NHS trusts in the UK and provides extensive education, training and professional development for clinical staff and students. Through its Education at MFT provision, the Trust supports the education, training and ongoing development of medical and non-medical clinical staff and students so they can achieve their maximum potential in delivering high-quality, up‑to‑date healthcare. MFT offers structured support for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, non-medical student practice placements, and access to a comprehensive trust library and training resources. The Trust has robust management arrangements and a dedicated education team that continuously adapts to changing demands in medical education, assuring and managing training placements to maintain high standards and a positive learner experience. MFT promotes a culture of teaching and learning for staff, trainees and students, underpinned by safe, high-quality patient care. Education is delivered using a range of facilities, including lecture theatres, seminar rooms, clinical skills laboratories, simulation and human factors centres, and a mock ward, across sites such as the Education Campus on the Oxford Road Campus, the Education and Research Centre and Simulation and Human Factors Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital, and the Postgraduate Education Centre at North Manchester General Hospital.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
