About
MITSkills
MITSkills is a national training provider specialising in government-funded pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programmes, with over 26 years’ experience delivering work-based learning. Originating in Surrey with motor vehicle apprenticeships, the organisation has expanded into construction, business, education, engineering and manufacturing, hair and beauty and sports, with delivery sites in Brentford, West Byfleet and other locations across the UK. MITSkills works as a hub between employers, learners, colleges, universities, councils and charities to align training with sector needs and address skills shortages. For employers, they design apprenticeship and commercial training solutions that support recruitment, upskilling and progression within the workforce, and they comply with ESFA funding rules to help organisations navigate funding options. Their offer spans apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeship study programmes, skills bootcamps, T Levels, full-time sports programmes, higher technical qualifications in sport development and coaching, and a range of sector-specific commercial courses. MITSkills continually invests in facilities and promotes employer-focused, industry‑relevant programmes that combine on-the-job training with classroom learning, aiming to equip learners with recognised qualifications, practical skills and improved employability or progression to higher or further education.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
