Luton Adult Learning

Luton Adult Learning, part of Luton Council, is a community-focused training provider offering apprenticeships and adult learning to support local employers and residents. Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, it delivers high-quality teaching and learning in a friendly, supportive environment across a town-centre site, community venues and bespoke workplace training. The service provides apprenticeships for individuals aged 16+ and for existing employees who wish to gain new skills, combining paid employment with structured off‑the‑job training so learners become fully competent in their chosen occupation. Apprenticeship training costs are funded, and programmes typically last between one and four years, depending on the standard and prior experience. Luton Adult Learning works closely with local businesses to help them recruit suitable apprentices and provides training and CPD opportunities, including custom workshops and programmes designed to develop staff and equip organisations for the future. Alongside apprenticeships, it delivers a wide range of workshops and courses aimed at helping people find work, gain promotion, support their children’s learning, engage in their communities or build confidence. The service also collaborates with schools, nurseries, libraries and community partners to offer targeted learning for disadvantaged groups.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
