About
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) is the primary community healthcare provider in Lincolnshire and delivers a structured range of apprenticeship and training opportunities to support workforce development across the local health and care system. The Trust’s Learning and Development and Apprenticeship Centre teams provide clinical apprenticeship programmes, including nursing associate and registered nurse degree apprenticeships delivered in partnership with the University of Lincoln, enabling staff to earn while they learn through salaried roles and supervised practice placements while gaining recognised qualifications and having tuition fees funded by employers. LCHS has a long history as an NVQ centre and became an employer provider in 2017; in 2021 its apprenticeship centre was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and in 2022 it achieved main provider status with the Education and Skills Funding Agency, allowing it to deliver apprenticeships beyond the Trust to other organisations. The Trust also offers specialist training through services such as the Electronic Assistive Technology Service, which runs Level 1 and Level 2 Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) courses and bespoke training for teams working with AAC users. These programmes support employers and individuals in developing clinical skills and competencies aligned to current NHS practice and local service needs.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
