About
Walbrook Institute London
Walbrook Institute London (previously known as LIBF) offers higher and degree-level apprenticeships in banking and finance aimed at employers who want to develop staff from entry level through to senior roles. Through its LIBF professional education arm, the organisation designs tailored apprenticeship programmes that allow employers to use their apprenticeship levy to invest in bespoke learning and development, with flexible start times to suit business needs. Current apprenticeship provision includes Level 6 programmes in Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and Operations, leading to a BSc (Hons) Financial Services Management and chartered status, and a Level 6 Investment Banking and Investment Management apprenticeship, leading to a BSc (Hons) Finance & Investment and chartered status. Walbrook states that it is the only financial services professional body able to offer its own degrees in banking and finance higher apprenticeships. Employers receive structured support including regular one‑to‑ones with personal tutors, three‑way progress meetings with line managers, weekly monitoring and reporting on online study and attendance, and detailed assessment feedback for individuals and cohorts. Beyond apprenticeships, Walbrook delivers career‑focused online and on‑campus master’s degrees in business, management, finance, technology and psychology, alongside globally recognised professional qualifications in mortgage advice, financial advice, banking, and trade and transaction banking, designed to fit around work and life commitments.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
