About
Lee Marley
Lee Marley is a large-scale construction subcontractor and division-based training provider that combines commercial delivery with structured in-house apprenticeship training. Established in 1997, the company specialises in brick facades for high-rise buildings and provides brickwork, stonework and scaffolding services for major housebuilders and construction companies in and around London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Through the Lee Marley Academy, a dedicated apprenticeship division, the organisation offers brickwork and scaffolding apprenticeships designed to bring the next generation of tradespeople into the industry. The Academy provides over 40 apprenticeship places per year within a well-supported environment, blending behavioural coaching with up-to-date technical instruction that goes beyond standard apprenticeship requirements. Training is delivered by experienced in-house trainers at a dedicated facility and includes specialist modules alongside the formal curriculum to help apprentices become productive quickly and operate confidently in fast-paced construction settings. Programmes include a 14‑month fast-track Brickwork Apprenticeship and a 2‑year Scaffolding Apprenticeship, both combining classroom-based learning with structured on-site experience. Apprentices who show potential are supported to progress into supervisory and management roles, with pathways to SSSTS, SMSTS, Advanced Scaffolder and CISRS Supervisor qualifications, as well as broader construction management development. The Academy emphasises long-term career pathways, individual coaching, a safe working environment and ongoing support for further training and responsibility.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
