About
LearnPlay Foundation
LearnPlay Foundation is a not‑for‑profit organisation that uses creative digital media and games‑based technologies to develop skills and opportunities for individuals, schools and communities. From its Wolverhampton base, it delivers high‑quality apprenticeships in a range of creative media standards, with an emphasis on video production, game development and wider digital technologies, and reports having an excellent track record and success rate in this area. Alongside apprenticeships, LearnPlay Foundation offers creative and digital short courses to help participants start or progress their digital careers, as well as work experience and placements linked to live commercial projects. The organisation also provides curriculum enrichment and innovative learning sessions for schools, PRUs and re‑entry programmes, using film and game technologies to support behavioural and learning objectives. In the community, LearnPlay curates collaborative projects and outreach activities that build soft skills, transferable skills and employability, particularly for young people and harder‑to‑reach groups. Its services combine education, production and community engagement to support both employers seeking to develop staff digital capabilities and individuals looking to gain practical experience and qualifications in creative and digital media.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
