Learning and Development Bureau (LDB) is an independent training institution providing a wide range of career and professional development courses and allied educational services across the United Kingdom. Recognised by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and listed on the government’s Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) as a main provider, LDB delivers apprenticeship training in areas such as education (including teaching assistant and learning and skills teacher), accounting and payroll, hospitality and catering, digital and IT (including data and cyber roles), creative and media, and adult health and social care. Alongside its apprenticeship portfolio, the Bureau offers non-apprenticeship programmes including Functional Skills in maths and English (entry level to level 2), teaching and education qualifications up to level 5 with progression to Qualified Teacher Status, diplomas in adult care, business management higher nationals, a Pre‑MBA Pearson BTEC Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, and a range of English language and ESOL qualifications.
