About
KLM UK Engineering
KLM UK Engineering provides technical training and aircraft apprenticeship programmes for the aviation maintenance industry, delivered from its head office at Norwich Airport and the International Aviation Academy Norwich. The organisation has been offering training for over 40 years and operates a dedicated Technical College that is a Part 147 Approved Maintenance Training Organisation (EASA.147.0176 and UK.147.0012). Its training provision includes EASA and UK CAA approved technical courses such as Part 66 basics, type training, Part 145 continuation training, online learning and structured apprenticeship programmes, as well as an aviation engineering degree route and support for ELCAS-funded learners. Training is delivered in state-of-the-art classrooms and workshops with hands-on experience on a live Boeing 737 Classic aircraft, located adjacent to the company’s maintenance hangars at Norwich Airport. As part of KLM UK Engineering’s broader MRO operation, the Technical College is closely linked to real-world base and line maintenance, component repair and ongoing operator support, providing a professional, industry-focused learning environment for new entrants and experienced technicians seeking to upskill.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
