JET Hairdressing Academy

JET Hairdressing Academy is a vocational training organisation specialising in high‑quality education and apprenticeships in hairdressing and barbering. Based in Basildon with an additional academy in London, it works in partnership with salons across the South and South East of the UK to deliver industry-focused training. The academy offers Hair Professional – Hairdressing and Barbering Apprenticeship Standards at Level 2, as well as the Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship Level 3. Alongside these sector-based programmes, JET also delivers assessor and quality assurance qualifications, including the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices. Training is delivered by industry professionals and mentors who continue to work in the sector, combining practical skill development with up‑to‑date technical knowledge. JET emphasises a supportive learning environment and learner wellbeing, providing personalised guidance and support services to help apprentices progress both professionally and personally. Its facilities also include a creative warehouse and studio space used for events, workshops and photoshoots.
