Inspire Middlesex College is a specialist apprenticeship training provider focused on the pharmacy sector. Established in 2013 by qualified industry specialists in response to employer demand, the organisation designs and delivers apprenticeship programmes for pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians, working with NHS organisations, GP surgeries and community pharmacies. Training is delivered by a team of registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring that teaching is closely aligned to current professional practice and sector requirements. Inspire Middlesex College uses a blended delivery model combining classroom sessions with online learning, and apprentices have access to an e-portfolio to support progress tracking and assessment. The provider also offers a free apprentice recruitment service for employers, including advertising vacancies, sourcing and pre-vetting candidates, and supporting interview arrangements and work trials. Prior to starting their apprenticeship, learners follow a structured self-development and induction programme covering interview and CV skills, motivation and confidence building, initial assessment of English and maths, and detailed information, advice and guidance. Individual learning plans are used to identify and plan for any additional learning support needs. This approach is designed to support both employers and apprentices to achieve successful outcomes in pharmacy apprenticeship training.
