HybridTec

HybridTec is a specialist training provider established in 2005 that delivers industry-led apprenticeships and technical training across gas, electrical, plumbing and renewable energy disciplines. Based at a purpose-built, state-of-the-art training centre in north Liverpool, with additional centres in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and the North East, the organisation trains, assesses and develops programmes for both new entrants and existing operatives. Its apprenticeship offer includes pathways such as Gas Engineering Operative (domestic and commercial), Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, Building Services Engineering Installer, and Installation Electrician & Maintenance Electrician, with no upper age limit for learners. HybridTec also provides a wide range of short courses and higher-level programmes, including ACS gas assessments, electrical energy storage systems, EV charging, heat pumps, solar PV, testing and inspection, and construction-focused HNCs. Courses are designed and delivered by experienced industry professionals using dedicated practical facilities, with the aim of addressing skills gaps and supporting employers to upskill their workforce. Working closely with a network of reputable employers, some programmes can be tailored to enable successful learners to move directly into ongoing employment.
