Hugh Baird College is an Ofsted outstanding further education college and University Centre based in the Liverpool City Region, delivering more than 300 courses to over 5,000 students. The college offers apprenticeships alongside T-levels, A-levels, university-level programmes and adult learning, with provision spanning a wide range of subject areas and qualifications. Apprenticeships are available from Level 2 up to higher and degree levels in sectors such as construction, engineering, electrical installation, early years and childcare, health and social care and more, typically delivered through a mix of on-the-job training and college-based study. Hugh Baird College ranks in the top 5% of general further education providers in England for apprentice achievement, reflecting strong outcomes and high completion rates. Employers are supported by a dedicated Business Development team that advises, coordinates and delivers apprenticeships, workforce training and funding options across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.
