Heathercroft Training Academy is an Ofsted-inspected independent training provider delivering commercial training, apprenticeships and Multiply programmes. It holds a long-standing direct contract with the Education & Skills Funding Agency to provide 16–18 and adult apprenticeships and is registered on the Approved List of Training Providers. Based in Eastbourne and Hastings, with provision across East Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas, Heathercroft’s tutors are mobile and deliver training in the learner’s workplace. The academy offers a structured apprenticeship curriculum in areas such as health and social care, childcare, ICT, business administration, customer service, management, and cleaning and support services. Apprenticeships are available from Level 2 up to higher levels, and the provider also runs a traineeship programme for learners up to 19, branded as “Pathway to Employment”, to support progression into apprenticeships, employment or further education. Heathercroft’s Multiply provision offers fully funded training in numeracy for adults. The organisation’s stated mission is to support businesses in meeting their continuous development needs and maximising the potential of their staff through quality training, while maintaining achievement rates above national averages and remaining a provider of choice for employers.
