Halesowen College is a further and higher education college in the West Midlands that delivers a broad apprenticeship offer alongside full-time academic, vocational and higher education programmes. Apprenticeships are available to anyone aged 16 and over, including existing employees who want to upskill or change career, and are designed around a mix of on-the-job learning and structured off-the-job training. The College currently provides apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 4 across sectors such as business administration, customer service, accounting, healthcare science, healthcare support, early years, digital and IT, marketing and pharmacy. Apprentices typically spend at least 20% of their working hours in off-the-job training, which can include classroom sessions at Halesowen College, online learning, and planned mentoring or shadowing in the workplace. Employers benefit from support from the College’s apprenticeship and employer engagement teams, who help match candidates to vacancies and monitor progress in the workplace. Beyond apprenticeships, Halesowen College offers A Levels, T Levels, vocational and technical courses and adult learning, with multiple campuses and facilities to support progression into higher-level study or employment.(halesowen.ac.uk)
