Type of training provider
There are four types of training provider:
A National Provider is a training provider that is able to offer apprenticeship training in any location across England. Some national providers might also offer training in the devolved nations, i.e. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
An FE college is a state-funded provider that can offer a broad range of training options in a particular location to a range of employers.
A Specialist Provider is a training provider that is not state-funded and tends to offer training in specialist sectors or locations.
Universities offer training for Degree Apprenticeships or Higher Apprenticeships, sometimes running specialist courses for apprentices on a particular standard.
F-TEC is a bespoke training centre to the Materials Handling Sector, set up by the industry to provide quality and technical training to apprentices. Our aim is to educate, skill and produce highly skilled engineers to the sector that experiencing a severe shortfall of skilled engineers.
Our centre is based in Swindon, we have an experienced team and a well equipped centre, our focus is on quality, apprentices that successfully complete will gain an internationally accredited qualification through The IMI Awards.
We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent training, we're customer, staff and apprentice focuses and always interested to speak to new customers, we also provide a whole host of courses for experienced engineers.
