About
Eden Learning Trust
Eden Learning Trust is a County Durham-based multi-academy trust whose partner schools educate pupils from nursery through to Key Stage 4 across the North East of England. The trust states that its aim is to provide the strongest possible educational opportunities in an environment where every child really matters, and it works with a group of like‑minded academies including primary and secondary schools such as Aycliffe Village Primary School, Chilton Academy, Ferryhill School, Kepier, King James I Academy, Seaham High School, St. Helen Auckland Community Primary School, Tanfield School, Woodham Academy and Woodlea Primary School. The trust also curates a substantial catalogue of free online continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for school staff. Through its Online CPD portal, Eden Learning Trust signposts colleagues to a wide range of externally designed training programmes that cover special educational needs and disability (SEND), wellbeing and pastoral support, use of technology in education, mathematics, English and literacy, wider foundation subjects, teaching and learning pedagogy, early‑career teacher development, educational research and leadership development. These CPD resources range from introductory to advanced, research-based programmes and are intended to support professional learning across the trust’s schools and beyond.(edenlearningtrust.uk)
