Ebor Academy Trust

Ebor Academy Trust is a registered apprenticeship training provider offering sector-specific programmes for schools and education settings. Their apprenticeship provision is designed and delivered by experienced practitioners, aligned with Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education standards, and taught primarily through live online workshops with opportunities for in‑person sessions where practical. Apprentices benefit from structured off‑the‑job learning, monthly assignment feedback, one‑to‑one mentoring, professional discussions and regular progress reviews, all focused on developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by each standard. Ebor delivers apprenticeships including Level 3 Business Administrator, Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Level 4 School Business Professional, Level 5 Coaching Professional and Level 6 teacher apprenticeships, with programmes typically funded via the Apprenticeship Levy or government co‑investment. Ofsted rated their apprenticeship provision “Good” in all areas in 2022, noting that apprentices develop significant and relevant new skills and grow in confidence and resilience. In addition to apprenticeships, Ebor provides wider training and CPD for the education sector, acting as a key partner in the Pathfinder Teaching School Hub and leading delivery of National Professional Qualifications and other specialist training open to maintained schools, academies, MATs and Ebor staff.
