About
East Surrey College
East Surrey College is a vocational further and higher education college based in Redhill, Surrey, and is part of the Orbital South Colleges group. The College delivers a wide variety of apprenticeship training across subject areas including art, design and media, aviation and travel, business and finance, construction, digital and IT, early years and childcare, engineering, hair, beauty and make-up, and teaching. Apprenticeships are offered from intermediate to higher levels for learners aged 16 and over who are employed, with programmes co-designed with employers to align with current industry apprenticeship standards. Training costs are funded through government and employer contributions, and employers are supported to use the Digital Apprenticeship Service to manage funding and apprenticeships. Alongside apprenticeships, East Surrey College offers full-time vocational study programmes (including T Levels) for 16–18 year olds, adult part-time and community learning, and university-level provision delivered through Orbital South Colleges University Centre. The College also provides sector-based work academy programmes and other short employability courses, working closely with Jobcentre Plus and local employers to help adults into work or progression. This combination of apprenticeship pathways, employer-focused training and broader further and higher education options enables organisations to upskill staff and individuals to progress their careers through technical and professional education.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
