About
First College
First College is a work-based learning provider and non-profit charitable trust based in East Lindsey, with centres in Louth and Skegness. It delivers apprenticeships and other training across Lincolnshire and beyond, covering occupational areas such as business administration, customer service, management, hospitality, and early years (including teaching assistant and early years care). These programmes are available as apprenticeships or stand-alone NVQs. Many programmes are delivered in the workplace, reflecting the organisation’s focus on the workplace as a rich learning environment, and apprentices benefit from support from qualified assessors throughout their qualification. First College also offers short, classroom-based courses from its Louth and Skegness centres and can deliver bespoke training on employer premises for groups of staff. In addition, the provider runs initiatives to support unemployed people into work, including schemes such as Apprenticeships and the RESTART programme, and offers impartial information, advice and guidance services for prospective and current learners. First College has also been involved in healthy eating projects and operates a school meals division, First Meals, delivering meals to schools in Lincolnshire.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
