About
Dental Nurse Academy
Dental Nurse Academy is a specialist training provider focused exclusively on dental nurse education, offering both a fully funded Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship and an online Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Its apprenticeship programme delivers the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (GDC 2023) apprenticeship standard (code ST1431), with a blended model of online learning and employer‑based training accessible to eligible learners across England. The apprenticeship is funded through government apprenticeship funding, with most employers contributing 5% of the cost and larger levy‑paying employers able to use their levy funds, while apprentices pay no course fees. Training and assessment typically take around 18 months, including at least 6 hours per week off‑the‑job training, with all assessments delivered online by NEBDN. Dental Nurse Academy is accredited/registered with the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN, reg. EM01251), and successful completion of its courses leads to a Level 3 qualification recognised by the General Dental Council. Alongside apprenticeships, the provider offers an online NEBDN Level 3 Diploma route, with modular HD video lessons, downloadable notes, online practice tests and a personal tutor, allowing learners to study flexibly 24/7 without attending college or night school. Employers are supported through a structured onboarding process and coordinated communication to confirm practice support and compliance requirements.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
