Cycle Confident

Cycle Confident is a specialist cycling training organisation that has been delivering cycle skills and development programmes across the UK for over 15 years. Established in 2007, it began with Bikeability and adult cycle skills training and has since expanded its services to include bicycle maintenance courses, Dr Bike sessions, Safe Urban Driving training and instructor development programmes. The organisation works with schools, local authorities, workplaces and community groups to provide Bikeability for schools, individual and group cycle training for adults, children and families, and led rides. It also offers Level 2 and Level 3 awards in instructing and developing cycle training instructors, as well as mechanic training for those seeking professional skills in cycle maintenance. Cycle Confident aims to equip people with the confidence and competence to cycle as part of healthy, active lives, training tens of thousands of adults and children each year across multiple cycling disciplines. As part of the Be Confident Group, it contributes to training around 100,000 people annually in the South East, North West and Midlands, underpinned by stated values of confidence, quality, going over and above, trust and appreciation.
