About
CTSW Skills
CTSW Skills Ltd is a Plymouth-based training provider offering structured pathways from pre-16 education through to apprenticeships and adult learning. Operating as the College of Technical Skills and Workforce (CTSW), the organisation focuses on practical, career-focused education that supports learners of all ages and starting points. Apprenticeship provision includes routes in Early Years and Construction, designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and qualifications, underpinned by strong employer links and a focus on real-world application. Alongside apprenticeships, CTSW delivers pre-16 alternative education programmes in areas such as catering, construction, functional skills, and hair and beauty, plus a range of diplomas and adult learning courses. The provider emphasises progression, enabling learners to move seamlessly from school-age programmes into post-16 diplomas, apprenticeships or specialist programmes, and onward into further upskilling as adults. CTSW also supports serving and ex-service personnel as a recognised ELCAS training provider, helping them develop new trades and transition into civilian careers. Their mission is to empower learners with the skills, confidence and resilience needed to achieve their goals and contribute effectively to the workforce and wider society.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
