CSR Scientific Training

CSR Scientific Training is a specialist apprenticeship provider focused on science and healthcare science. Guided by a vision to bring education and industry together for a brighter, safer world, it designs apprenticeships in close partnership with employers such as NHS and other clinical and scientific organisations. The provider delivers programmes across Healthcare Science Standards and Applied Science Standards, as well as a growing portfolio of additional standards that employers can use to recruit new staff or upskill existing employees. Apprenticeships span levels 2 to 5 and include roles such as Healthcare Science Assistant, Healthcare Science Associate, Laboratory Technician and Technician Scientist, with training mapped to industry requirements and regulatory standards. CSR Scientific Training emphasises practical, work-based learning combined with structured off‑the‑job training, helping apprentices develop scientific, analytical and workplace skills, alongside professional behaviours. The organisation is ESFA‑approved, listed on the Apprenticeship Provider and Assessment Register, and holds an Ofsted Outstanding rating for its apprenticeship provision, with success rates reported as consistently above national benchmarks. Its Level 3 Laboratory Technician apprenticeship is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
