Community Matters is a specialist apprenticeship and workforce development provider working primarily with public, charitable and voluntary sector employers. Through its dedicated apprenticeships service, the organisation supports the full apprenticeship lifecycle, from programme design and recruitment through to learner engagement, teaching and programme completion. Apprenticeships are positioned as structured, nationally recognised training programmes funded by government, enabling staff to work towards qualifications while contributing to service delivery. Current apprenticeship standards offered include Business Administration (Level 3), Community Health and Wellbeing Support Worker (Level 3), Team Leader/Supervisor (Level 3), Adult Care Worker (Level 2) and Lead Adult Care Worker (Level 3). Programmes are delivered via live webinars, virtual training sessions, conference calls and online learning tools, with an emphasis on reflective practice and experiential learning to reduce written workload and improve on-the-job performance. Community Matters also provides wider consultancy and training services including programme and project management consultancy, project evaluation and health checks, training hub health checks, workforce development and new roles, and PCN engagement and training needs mapping, giving employers an integrated approach to planning, delivering and evaluating workforce training and development. All provision is designed to align with employers’ business objectives and demonstrate a return on investment.
