About
Coleg Cambria
Coleg Cambria is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, operating across five sites on the Cheshire/North Wales border. Created in 2013, the college offers a broad and inclusive curriculum ranging from GCSEs and A Levels to vocational qualifications up to Level 3, Welsh for Adults, and university-level programmes, including delivery through its dedicated University Centre. Coleg Cambria works in partnership with over 1,000 employers locally and nationally to deliver apprenticeships, traineeships and bespoke workforce training, supporting employers with funding, recruitment of new talent and upskilling existing staff. The college’s work-based and apprenticeship provision spans multiple sectors and is backed by extensive learner support services, from careers advice to wellbeing and resilience coaching. Coleg Cambria also collaborates with partners such as Novus Cambria to support education in specialist settings and actively develops Welsh‑medium and bilingual provision. For adults and professionals, the college provides part‑time, professional development and business-focused programmes, helping individuals progress in their careers and employers build skills aligned to labour market needs.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
