About
CK Assessment & Training
CK Assessment & Training delivers industry-recognised plumbing, gas, oil and renewable/low carbon energy training for learners at different stages of their careers. Apprenticeship provision includes the Level 3 Gas Engineering Standard, which leads to an Advanced Apprenticeship and covers core domestic gas qualifications such as CCN1, CPA1, MET1 and CENWAT, with G3 unvented hot water also included. This programme is aimed at those already employed in the plumbing or gas industry for at least 30 hours per week and typically runs over 18 months on a day-release basis, combining practical and theory training at the Nazeing training centre. Alongside apprenticeships, CK Assessment & Training offers Level 1 and Level 2 Diplomas in Plumbing, a Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating, and a range of short courses including unvented, Water Regulations, Legionella Risk Assessment and Part L (Energy Efficiency). Courses are designed for both complete beginners and experienced professionals, with many benefiting from government funding. Training is delivered by staff with extensive, current industry experience, and tools and materials are provided for centre-based sessions.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
