Chesterfield College delivers a comprehensive apprenticeship and skills offer for individuals and employers across a wide range of sectors. Apprenticeships are available from Level 2 through to degree level, allowing learners to earn a wage while working towards nationally recognised apprenticeship standards and gaining industry experience. Programmes are designed by employers to provide relevant knowledge, practical skills and transferable competencies for career progression, and can support both new recruits and existing staff seeking to upskill or retrain. The college offers a broad portfolio of apprenticeship standards, including accounting, automotive, construction and groundworks, business administration, customer service, early years and teaching assistant roles, electrical installation, engineering, gas engineering, digital roles such as content creator and information communications technician, data technician, and leadership and management pathways. Chesterfield College also supports employers through its Employers Hub with services to hire apprentices, offer work experience, and arrange T Level industry placements, alongside short courses, commercial training and programmes to upskill employees. In addition to apprenticeships, the college provides full-time 16–18 study programmes, adult courses to retrain or progress in a current role, functional skills and short courses, higher education in more than 20 subject areas, and specialised employability initiatives and industry-focused provision.
