About
Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT
Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT is the accredited teacher training arm of Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust, specialising in primary school teacher education in Buckinghamshire. Operating as a school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) provider since 2015, it has trained almost 200 primary school teachers. The organisation delivers a high-quality, school-based teacher training programme focused on primary education, and was graded as a ‘Good’ provider of initial teacher training (ITT) in 2023. Training is delivered in person on a weekly basis and blends theory with classroom practice, ensuring that apprentices and trainees develop both pedagogical understanding and practical teaching skills. Participants are supported by a team of experienced primary specialists and visiting mentors drawn from local schools. The provider emphasises its role in developing innovative, creative and dedicated teachers to serve children in the local area. In addition to its established primary ITT routes, Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT will offer a postgraduate teaching apprenticeship from July 2025, providing an employment-based route into primary teaching that combines work in schools with structured professional training.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
