The Cambridge Partnership

About
The Cambridge Partnership
The Cambridge Partnership is a Meridian Trust initial teacher training provider that focuses on developing primary and secondary teachers, including through postgraduate teaching apprenticeships. Based in Cambridgeshire, it works with a wide network of partner schools across the East of England, including Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. Its programmes combine research‑informed pedagogy with extensive in‑school experience, and each trainee is supported by a dedicated Programme Manager overseeing all aspects of their training year. The Cambridge Partnership offers multiple routes into teaching, including fee‑funded programmes, salaried School Direct options, and a Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship where trainees are typically employed as unqualified teachers while training and tuition is funded via the Apprenticeship Levy. Courses lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with primary trainees placed across contrasting schools and key stages, and secondary trainees able to specialise in a range of subjects. The provision was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in February 2024. The organisation also offers an Assessment Only route for experienced unqualified teachers who meet specific experience and eligibility requirements.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
