LETTAs training arm, London East Teacher Training Alliance, is a registered apprenticeship training provider focused on developing teachers, support staff and leaders for schools. They offer an Ofsted-rated outstanding initial teacher training programme that enables trainees to learn on the job for a full year alongside experienced mentors, while working towards a PGCE with 60 Masters credits and Qualified Teacher Status. LETTA delivers a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship as a salaried programme that combines face-to-face and online learning with extensive classroom experience, supported by a mentor, professional tutor and access to specialist teaching. In addition to apprenticeships, LETTA runs personalised induction programmes for early career teachers, including training from nationally and internationally recognised specialists and professional tutors, balanced with school-based practice. Their wider professional learning and leadership development offer is designed with partner schools to meet local and national priorities, with options for bespoke professional development and service level agreements. LETTA also provides a range of tailored school improvement services, working with leaders at all levels through coaching, mentoring and partnership-based support.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
