About
Bradford Council
Bradford Council, formally the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, provides a wide range of education, skills and careers-related services across the Bradford district. Within its Education and Skills offer, the Council supports careers and technical education through initiatives such as Bradford Pathways and Industrial Centres of Excellence, which are planned around local employer needs and designed to help young people gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for work. This Careers and Technical Education framework is delivered in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and employers, and operates across primary, secondary and post-16 education to support progression into employment or further training. The Council also delivers and coordinates adult learning, employability support and other training and development opportunities, often working with local providers and employers to address current and future skills demands. While Bradford Council appears on the government’s apprenticeship provider register, detailed information about specific apprenticeship standards delivered directly by the Council is not set out on the main corporate website. Employers and individuals are directed via the Education and Skills and related sections to appropriate services and partner organisations for apprenticeships, upskilling and workforce development support.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
