About
Bournemouth & Poole College
Bournemouth & Poole College delivers a broad apprenticeship offer alongside vocational, T Level, degree-level and adult courses. Apprenticeships at the College combine paid employment with structured training and a recognised qualification, enabling learners to earn a wage while developing practical skills and experience. Programmes typically last from one to four years, extending up to seven years for degree-level routes. They are open to school leavers after GCSEs or A Levels, existing employees seeking to upskill, and adults looking for a career change. The College works with over 2,000 employers across Dorset and the surrounding areas and offers over 30 different apprenticeships across 10 sectors, including degree-level apprenticeships in nursing and engineering. Employers can access apprenticeship recruitment support, sector-specific training solutions and opportunities to develop their workforce through upskilling courses, T Levels and work experience partnerships. Prospective apprentices and employers can explore apprenticeship courses, view current vacancies and access guidance on entry criteria, application processes and support during the apprenticeship via the College’s dedicated apprenticeship information pages.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
