Bottle Green Training

Bottle Green Training (BGT) is a Derbyshire-based specialist training provider for the animal care and veterinary nursing sectors, delivering apprenticeships and related programmes since 1999. The organisation offers apprenticeships in Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing for Small Animal and Equine practice, alongside Level 3 Small Animal First Aid and Functional Skills at Levels 1 and 2. Training is delivered in small groups by highly qualified, practising veterinary nurses, enabling tutors to tailor sessions to individual apprentices and support a high-quality learning experience. BGT emphasises holistic support through a dedicated Safeguarding and Additional Learning Support team and maintains strong working relationships with veterinary practices nationally. The provider reports consistently high pass rates, including 100% End Point Assessment outcomes for Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing (Small Animal and Equine). BGT achieved an overall Ofsted grade of ‘Good’ in 2022 and positions itself as offering strong opportunities for both apprentices and practices within the equine and small animal industry.
