About
Lincoln Bishop University
Lincoln Bishop University (formerly Bishop Grosseteste University) offers a portfolio of higher and degree apprenticeships designed for both employers and individuals who want to develop work‑ready skills while in paid employment. Apprenticeships are delivered through a blended model that combines on‑campus teaching with remote learning, structured into modules or units and supported by at least six hours per week of off‑the‑job training. Current provision includes Level 6 programmes such as the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, Project Manager Apprenticeship and Career Development Professional Apprenticeship, alongside Primary Teacher and Secondary Teacher Apprenticeships leading to Qualified Teacher Status. Apprenticeships are open to new and existing employees aged 16 and over who complete at least 50% of their working hours in England, with typical contracts of 30 hours per week or more. Programmes focus on developing knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to nationally recognised apprenticeship standards, with assessment through written work, presentations, reports and an end‑point assessment. For employers, apprenticeships are positioned as a cost‑effective way to align training with business needs, improve staff retention and motivation, and bring fresh ideas into the organisation, with funding available via levy or co‑investment routes.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
