About
The Bedford College Group
The Bedford College Group is a large further and higher education provider in the South East Midlands, delivering apprenticeships, technical and professional training, and higher education across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. Formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College, the Group now includes Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College, Tresham College, Shuttleworth College, The Bedford Sixth Form, The Corby Sixth Form and the National College for Motorsport. Its apprenticeship provision covers a wide range of industries and course areas, with programmes available from intermediate to higher levels, including Higher Apprenticeships equivalent to foundation and bachelor’s degrees. The Group works with hundreds of employers and offers flexible day-release and block-release models, with dedicated business engagement and apprenticeship recruitment specialists to support employers and apprentices from recruitment through to completion. Alongside apprenticeships, the Group delivers further, technical and higher education, workforce training and IT training via community-based learning centres, all aimed at helping individuals, employers and communities develop skills and progress.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
