Banham Academy is a specialist apprenticeship training provider focused on the Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems (FESS) Apprenticeship. Open to employers and individuals over 16, the academy supports apprentices in developing the skills to design, install and maintain electronic systems that protect homes, businesses and other properties. Training combines on-the-job experience with classroom-based delivery at dedicated centres in London and Derby, serving employers across the UK. Banham Academy is trusted by over 100 employers and around 250 apprentices for its “best-in-class” FESS training, offering access to a wide range of equipment from multiple manufacturers and an on-site training facility. The academy holds Ofsted “Good” status with outstanding aspects, IET accreditation for its FESS Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, and provides apprentices with Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) identification and EngTech TMIET recognition. It is also the first provider in its field to operate its own in-house End Point Assessment Centre. Employers can access guidance on costs and government funding for the £18,000 Level 3 programme, and the academy provides structured information and support for both employers looking to upskill their workforce and individuals seeking a career in fire, emergency and security systems.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
