About
Anglia Ruskin University ARU
Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is an innovative UK university offering a wide portfolio of learning routes, including degree apprenticeships, short courses, CPD and traditional academic programmes from undergraduate through to doctoral level. ARU positions itself as one of the UK’s leading providers of degree apprenticeships, working with over 1,000 regional and national employers and professional bodies to deliver work-based degree and master’s level programmes aligned to current skills shortages and employer needs. Apprentices combine paid employment with university study, gaining a full degree or master’s qualification while applying learning directly in the workplace, with no tuition fees for the apprentice. ARU highlights its focus on developing ‘future‑ready talent’, particularly in areas such as policing, nursing, social work, digital and leadership, and stresses the benefits of maximising use of the Apprenticeship Levy for employers. Alongside apprenticeships, ARU supports workforce and individual development through short courses, CPD, PhDs at work, and access to research, innovation and business support services. Many courses are professionally accredited and designed to build career‑ready skills, supported by world‑class facilities, careers support and partnerships with business and public services across its campuses in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Peterborough, Writtle and London.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
