Aldridge Education

About
Aldridge Education
Aldridge Education is a multi-academy trust that extends its provision beyond school-age learners to include adult and community education. Through Aldridge Adult Learning, the trust offers adult education courses, evening classes and part‑time programmes for learners aged 19 and over. Provision is based at Portslade Aldridge Community Academy and delivered from this site and two additional local centres, Foredown Tower and Quayside Youth Centre. The Adult Learning centre runs over 100 courses each year, covering both academic subjects and personal interest areas such as yoga, languages and search engine optimisation. It also delivers Access courses designed to help adults return to education and gain the qualifications required for university entry. Aldridge Education emphasises supporting all adults, particularly those who are vulnerable or hard to engage, to take control of their career options and pursue lifelong learning. The trust reports high levels of learner achievement and positive student feedback on course quality, enjoyment and wellbeing impact, reflecting its broader mission to bring learning to life and serve its local communities through education opportunities into adulthood.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
