Achieving for Children
Achieving for Children is a not‑for‑profit organisation providing children’s services on behalf of Kingston, Richmond and Windsor & Maidenhead councils, and operates Way2Work as its dedicated apprenticeship service. Way2Work is an approved apprenticeship training provider on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, delivering high-quality apprenticeships and traineeships for people aged 16+ across Kingston, Richmond and Windsor & Maidenhead. The service offers apprenticeships in sectors such as business administration, customer service, early years/childcare and teaching assistants, with opportunities in both public and private sector roles. Way2Work provides a full apprenticeship recruitment service for employers, supporting them to attract suitable candidates and upskill existing staff, and delivers functional skills teaching and examinations in English and maths as part of apprenticeship standards. Learners receive ongoing information, advice and guidance, including CV development, interview preparation and job search support, with a strong focus on supporting vulnerable learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, care leavers and children looked after. Achieving for Children reports strong progression outcomes for Way2Work apprentices, with most progressing into higher apprenticeships, employment or further training, and high satisfaction ratings for teaching quality and willingness to recommend the service to others.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
