Lift Schools

Lift Schools is a multi-academy trust and specialist apprenticeship training provider focused on the education sector. The trust comprises a network of primary, secondary and special schools across England and is committed to delivering excellent education for every child, supported by high-quality staff development. As an established Apprenticeship Training Provider, Lift Schools has been offering apprenticeship programmes from Level 2 to Level 5 since 2012, targeted at school and early years support roles. Their apprenticeship provision is designed for any school or early years setting in England and can be fully funded through the apprenticeship levy, with guidance available on funding options for non-levy payers. Apprenticeships include programmes for teaching assistants, early years practitioners and leaders, business administration, operations management, coaching professionals, IT solutions technicians and a range of new education-focused roles such as Digital and AI Champion, School Business Professional, Wellbeing Champion and Safeguarding Support Officer. Lift Schools’ curriculum intent is to equip school support staff with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to excel in often under-recognised roles and maximise their impact on pupils and school communities. In addition to apprenticeships, Lift Schools offers initial teacher training and wider professional development in partnership with other organisations, and provides free consultations to multi-academy trusts and schools on apprenticeship strategy and optimal use of the levy.
Apprenticeships Offered:
Apprenticeship standards detail what an apprentice will be doing in their day-to-day job role.
Each standard lists the skills required of apprentices, and every standard is written by a group of employers called trailblazers-experts within their industry that have worked with countless apprentices.
Listed here are the apprenticeship standards this training provider offers training for.
