Yorkshire Work Based Training (YWBT) is a Hull-based training provider offering flexible, accredited vocational training for individuals and businesses across the Hull, Humber and wider Yorkshire region. They focus on delivering industry-relevant courses supported by fully qualified teachers with extensive classroom experience, aiming to meet diverse learning needs through tailored delivery. YWBT offers a broad portfolio of courses, including CCNSG Safety Passport, CITB Site Safety Plus construction and CSCS-related training, health and safety (including IOSH Managing Safely), food safety, leadership and management, licensing (APLH), literacy and numeracy (Functional Skills English and Mathematics at Levels 1 and 2), mental health first aid, offshore wind energy, prevention and control of infection, security and door supervision, steel fixing and erecting, and a range of education courses. Their programmes are fully accredited by recognised awarding bodies, and they design course structures to fit around work and personal commitments, including distance/online learning, evenings and weekends. YWBT can also deliver training on employer premises for groups of staff, supporting workforce upskilling and compliance-focused training needs in key regional industries.
