3 Spirit Training

3Spirit Training is a UK-based Skills for Care Centre of Excellence established in 2012 that works closely with employers across the care sector to build workforce capability. According to its published ethos, the organisation focuses on delivering skills that drive innovative, compassionate care and support services, working with local authorities, hospitals, care providers, housing organisations, and services across the private, voluntary and independent sectors. Its training offer is structured into two main strands: a care apprenticeships division and a short-course care programmes team. The apprenticeships division provides impact-driven programmes designed for care staff at different levels, while the short-course provision covers practitioner and managerial training across the care sector, with particular specialist focus on dementia, autism, mental health and safeguarding. 3Spirit Training states that it embraces innovation in its delivery, using current technological and pedagogical approaches to keep programmes up to date, and promotes lifelong learning, teamwork, multi‑disciplinary collaboration and effective communication as core components of its training.
