New City College

New City College is a large further education provider with multiple campuses across East London and Essex, offering a broad apprenticeship and skills portfolio for both young people and adults. Through its apprenticeship provision, the college combines paid employment with structured training, enabling apprentices to gain nationally recognised qualifications from Level 2 to Level 7 while working with an employer. Apprenticeships are offered across a range of sectors including business, teaching and education, construction and engineering, with programmes tailored to local and regional skills needs and employment opportunities. The college works closely with local and national employers, providing strong industry links, real workplace experience and sector-relevant skills development. Apprentices are supported through screening, assessment and ongoing guidance from the apprenticeship team, who help match candidates and employers and oversee training quality. In addition to apprenticeships, New City College delivers 16–18 study programmes (A Levels, vocational and T Levels), adult courses at all levels, higher education, short courses and specialist training through initiatives such as New City Trade Skills and New City for Business.
