EA Training is the dedicated training arm of EA Technology, specialising in power engineering education for the electricity industry. From its base in Capenhurst, Chester, EA Training delivers technical programmes that range from City & Guilds and EAL engineering qualifications to modular workforce development, scheduled short courses, distance learning and bespoke in‑company provision. Its apprenticeship offer includes Level 3 programmes for Power Industry Substation Fitters, Cable Jointers and Overhead Linespeople, and a Level 4 Electrical Power Networks Engineer apprenticeship, supported by an online maths bridging course and a pre‑apprenticeship introduction to the electrical engineering industry. The wider training portfolio covers power networks, cables, protection, substations and specialist topics such as power quality, lightning protection and project management, delivered through classroom, practical and distance‑learning formats.
