Tungsten Training Centre is a construction industry training and qualification provider based just outside Brighton, offering government-funded apprenticeships and a wide range of vocational courses in electrical, plumbing and heating, gas, and health and safety. Apprenticeships are delivered at Level 3 in Domestic Electrician, Installation and Maintenance Electrician, Gas Engineering Operative, and Plumbing and Heating Domestic Technician, combining knowledge delivery, on-site experience, evidence portfolios and end-point assessment. Apprentices typically attend the Brighton training centre for around six hours per week while working at least 30 hours in employment, with government and employer contributions funding the training. The centre also offers standalone electrical, plumbing and gas, and health and safety courses, from entry routes such as Level 2 and Level 3 Electrotechnical qualifications to specialist courses including BS 7671 (18th Edition), inspection and testing, ACS gas qualifications and CITB site management and safety programmes. Tungsten Training Centre emphasises small class sizes, site-experienced tutors and realistic, fully equipped workshops designed to replicate real working environments, supported by bright, spacious classrooms. The provider holds accreditations with City & Guilds, EAL, LCL Awards and CITB and has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Employers receive support with the apprenticeship service account, compliance, and candidate matching, as well as ongoing guidance throughout the apprentice’s journey.
