BLD Training

BLD Training, part of Blue Lights Digital Ltd, is a UK-based specialist training provider focused on digital investigations, policing and fraud-related disciplines. As an approved apprenticeship provider, BLD delivers Level 4 apprenticeships in Digital Forensics Technician, Counter Fraud Investigator, Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) and Intelligence Analyst. Their apprenticeship programmes combine paid employment with structured off‑the‑job learning, using a blended model of face‑to‑face sessions, webinars and online self‑study. Apprentices are taught and mentored by experienced practitioners from policing, digital forensics and fraud investigation backgrounds, with many trainers actively engaged in areas such as cybercrime, cryptocurrency investigations, banking and insurance fraud. Alongside apprenticeships, BLD offers an extensive portfolio of instructed and self‑study courses, including digital investigation, digital forensics, MOSOVO, open source intelligence (OSINT), cyber deception, drone investigation, communications data, roads policing and wider digital skills for frontline staff and supervisors. Many programmes are CPD accredited or City & Guilds Assured, and can be delivered in‑person or via remote live instruction to suit organisational needs. BLD emphasises tailoring content and delivery to employer requirements, supporting organisations to build sustainable digital investigation and intelligence capability across their workforce.
