Abbeydale Vetlink Veterinary Training

Abbeydale Vet Nurse Training is a specialist, independent veterinary training provider offering dedicated education and support for veterinary nurses, veterinary nurse assistants and veterinary training practices. Based at a purpose-designed teaching centre near Monmouth, they deliver both the practical and academic elements of training on site, with all exams held at the centre, minimising travel for learners. Their provision includes the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Apprenticeship, Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Assistant Diploma (including small animal and equine routes), Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship, and a range of additional qualifications such as veterinary receptionist, veterinary leadership and clinical coaching, canine first aid, and safe use of medication for small animals. Abbeydale also offers Functional Skills in English and maths and runs clinical coach and student revision events. Training is delivered by qualified tutors who are registered veterinary nurses with current clinical experience, enabling practice‑relevant teaching and support. The organisation works closely with veterinary practices, helping them register as RCVS-recognised training practices and training practice staff to become and develop as clinical coaches, supporting both apprenticeships and broader professional development.
